Don’t Miss These Spring Printables!
With spring right around the corner, I wanted to highlight some spring printables we have available on the blog and a few others from around the web! 🙂

Learn about the Parts of the Seed/Parts of a Flower with our Botany Packet:
FREE Spring Animals Packet: I made this for my kids when we were reading the Trumpet of the Swan (not that you have to read that novel, but that was what inspired this packet). There are notebook pages on the trumpeter swan, mallard, red-winged blackbird, skunk, rabbit, and American robin. There is also a matching page with these animals and their young.
We have a giant Life Cycles Packet: This 50+ page Life Cycles Packet helps kids become familiar with the different stages in the life cycles of the chicken, sea turtle, frog, mosquito, butterfly, dragonfly, bee, mouse, and ladybug.
This packet is included in our Big Animal Bundle (more details about that bundle here). Last year I added jelly bean addition and subtraction activities to the (growing) Addition and Subtraction Bundle:
FREE Easter Games: Word Family Game for -at -it -ot words and Egg Races Math Race Game
A very long time ago, ED did some Easter-themed Montessori work. She was working on Place Value and skip counting by 10s at the time. If you are interested you can visit this post to view that. I have some free printables there, though I should probably update that since it’s been a while! 🙂
Free Easter Math Worksheets: This is a set of free math worksheets I made for the kids one year. 🙂 You can see it’s mixed math practice.
Here are some simple Easter-themed multiplication and division worksheets I made for the kids one year. These are free as well:
There are lots of free Springtime and Easter Units out on the web with activities for tots, PreK, K and beyond. I thought I would highlight a few freebies I have come across:

The Easter bilby is the Australian alternative to the Easter bunny. Rabbits are not native to Australia and are considered to be a pest, so there has been a push for the bilby to substitute. Bilbies (pictured to the left) are marsupials and are currently endangered.
My blogging friend, Kylie, over at Our Worldwide Classroom made the most adorable Easter Bilby Printable Pack. It’s full of cute activities for the toddler and preschool crowd. http://ourworldwideclassroom.blogspot.com/2012/03/easter-bilby-printable-bambino-pack.html
