Homeschool Spanish Classes (from Elementary through Spanish 3)

Are your kids looking for a Spanish teacher or a Spanish curriculum? My girls are taking Sra. Morato’s Elementary Spanish class online,  but I wanted to take a moment to share with you all of her other classes as well (Spanish 1, 2 and 3). UPDATE: Her Spanish 1 class (with live teacher) is now FULL, although you can still sign up for the Spanish 1 independent study course.

These are all online classes that you can do right from your home!

Sra. Morato offers both independent study Spanish curriculum and live Spanish classes where students meet with her weekly. More about that below!

FYI: Enrollment for her live classes ends August 20th, 2018.

Sra. Morato is a native Spanish teacher and spent 20 years teaching high school Spanish. In fact, she helped many of her students pass the rigorous IB exam! She also has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Instruction and Online Learning.

What’s fabulous about Sra. Morato’s program is that it includes video lessons (that she pre-recorded), online flashcards & quizzes, but also Sra. Morato meets with the kids every week! That, I think, is the incredible value of her classes. The kids practice and are corrected as they are learning. I know how essential that is if you really want your kids to learn to speak and communicate.

It’s a lovely story of how I got to know Sra. Morato. We’re practically neighbors, though we didn’t know that when we first teamed up to work together to do a series of free Spanish worksheets here on the blog! You can read the whole story here: Primary Spanish – Elementary Spanish Class for Kids!

I have teamed up with Sra. Morato to help her out with the elementary Spanish worksheets (no, I don’t speak Spanish, but my girls are in her class). Here’s a set we put together for the seasons and weather (just two of the four sections that go into a unit).

And here is just a general screenshot of some of the Elementary Worksheets I’ve helped make.  My girls feel so great about how much they’ve learned so far! Hooray!

If you want to get a glimpse at the types of activities Sra. Morato has put together inside her Elementary Class, be sure to visit this post: Free Spanish Worksheet: Parts of the Body – El Cuerpo. There she shared activities like the online flashcards, the matching game and other interactive activities that go with each of her units. (Within the course, that is!)

This is a glimpse into Sra. Morato’s Elementary Spanish Program (which includes online weekly classes where she works with the students on the topics they are learning!).

Here is where you can find out about the Spanish Elementary Program:

As I mentioned above, she also has Spanish 1, 2, and 3.  She offers independent study or classes where the students meet with her weekly online. For someone like me who doesn’t speak Spanish, that’s the option I would need so that the kids are practicing and using their new vocabulary and speaking in sentences. But, if you can support your kids’ learning and speak with them in Spanish, then the independent study option might work for you.  I’ll give you some links where you can find out more from Sra. Morato (through her introduction videos)!

Here is her website: HomeschoolSpanishCurriculum.com

Spanish 1 is for mature Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers:

Each of these courses provide step-by-step instructions about what to do each week for the entire year!

Enrollment for her Spanish 1 Class ends August 20th, 2018 and I know there aren’t that many spots left.

Sra. Morato is really open to talking to the parents of prospective students, so if you want to talk to her on the phone, just drop her an email — info@spanisheducationalsolutions . com. She will also help you determine which class suits them best if your child has had previous Spanish instruction.

Again, her website is here: HomeschoolSpanishCurriculum.com

So, that about wraps it up for today!

Happy Homeschooling!
