Fall and Thanksgiving Math Packs and Games (Free)
I’m always SO grateful for the educators who share their materials for free! I was looking for some Thanksgiving themed math materials for my kids and came across a number of free games and printables (most are from TeachersPayTeachers which you need to register (free) to be able to download). We have taken a number of pages for ED’s kindergarten math from Royal Baloo’s Thanksgiving Math Pack
Use a hole puncher to poke out the right answer: Addition Pumpkin Poke with cards like these (with cards all the way from 1+1 through 12+12):
Here’s ED doing one of the problems:
Fields of Sunflowers Mental Math (a board game to practice addition problems mentally such as 26+50 or 644+200)
I used the cute turkey page from the pack: Turkey Counting Ten Frames and Addition for some dice-addition practice
Multiplication Game: Thanksgiving 5-in-a-RowThis game is SO cute! DD and LD will be playing this to keep on top of their multiplication facts:
Roll the die twice and multiply. Try to get 5 in a row before the other person!
Thanksgiving Preschool Printables (free)
Turkey Improper Fraction and Mixed Fraction Cards
Holiday Review Pack (Percent, Fractions, Decimals) for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas
Thanksgiving Magic Square for Fractions: (match all the sides to re-create a 3X3 square) by Heather from HoJo’s Teaching Adventures
This was tricky for DD, but LD finished it within a couple of minutes:
Turkey Fraction Cards (find all three that match)
I also made some new skip counting mazes for my daughter to practice her 2s, 3s and 5s:
Thanksgiving Skip Counting Practice 2s 3s 5s
I also made some Thanksgiving themed Number Family Sheets and basic addition matching (turkey to feather)
