Celebrating Father’s Day
We celebrated Father’s Day by going camping this weekend. It’s a bit of work getting everything ready, but once we’re out there the time away is so refreshing! The highlight was a beautiful two-hour hike we did together. I loved watching Dad teaching the kids to skip rocks. I have fond memories of doing that with my Dad that as a kid!
It was picturesque and peaceful and just a lovely weekend. The weather was gorgeous and it was wonderful to celebrate Dad’s special day as a family!
We didn’t break any speed records along the trail with all the detours the kids took, but they sure had fun.
LD found a 15 inch long snake skin and practiced his Tarzan moves!
I hope you had a great weekend too! Liesl
On Tuesday I’ll be sharing a 20-page phonics worksheet pack for your beginning reader. These are sheets I made to accompany the very first set of Bob Books.
