Preschool Math — Number Line Game

Here’s an activity DD (age 4) and I played together today.
It is good for reinforcing number recognition. The
object is to be the first person to turn over the cards
from 0 to 12 in order.

To set up we turned the numbers 0-12 upside down
in a row (one row for each player). When it was a player’s
turn she got to turn over two cards (Mom actually only
turned over one card). If she turned over the card she
needed in her number line, she got to go again.

This was a great activity for number recognition because
DD read the cards a loud each time she had to find out
which card she needed next. She won and was very excited!
