The older kids are always given a small pitcher to pour
their milk into their cereal. ED now has a very small
pitcher of milk to pour into her bowl. (She’s been doing this
for a couple of months now, probably starting around 20
months old, I think.) If she dribbles any milk she knows
where the washclothes are and will go grab one out of the
drawer to wipe the table.

A bit about me: I have my Master's from Brown University. I have more than 20 years of teaching experience. I was a high school teacher for many years both in the U.S. and internationally and also taught for the University of Maryland before leaving to homeschool my 3 wonderful kids.
