A while back I read about a family who put paint in
ziploc bags and had the kids jump on them. Now
that the weather is warming up, we decided to give
it a try. Some of the bags we filled with paint and
air; some of them we had paint, vinegar and baking
soda (to expand the bag). LD was able to pop all
the bags (and the ones without vinegar/bs “looked
nicer”), but DD and ED had a harder time popping
the bags unless they were fully inflated which was
easiest to do with the vinegar/bs.
Anyway, we had a good time and have some large,
interesting paintings to help us decorate for Halloween!
Here’s the link where I first saw this messy art form!
