Animal Homes and Shelters – Where Do Animals Live?

Animals find shelter in a wide variety of places from hives and holes to warrens and lodges!  These animal homes and shelters worksheets help students learn about the homes of these 10 animals: fox, beaver, hermit crab,  sea turtle, raccoons, bats,  blue jay, bees, eastern tent caterpillars, and rabbits.

These pages have been added to the 75+ page Animal Packet!Animal Homes and Shelters - Where do animals live worksheets

These worksheets on animal homes and shelters includes color or black & white options. Pages in this section include: identify the animal and/or identify the animal shelter. There is a tracing page of the animals.  There is also a matching page for animals and their homes. You will also find Montessori-style matching cards for this section.

These pages have been added to the Animal Packet. As many of you know, we have a 75+ page animal packet that is about the different types of animals (vertebrates, invertebrates), animal characteristics, insects vs. spiders, domesticated vs. wild animals, animal tracks and much more! You will find the worksheets on where animals live on pages 70 to 86.

Note: For those of you who purchased this unit already, you should have received an email from SendOwl (the delivery service I use) with your download link. If you didn’t receive that or have any trouble with your download remember you can always contact me!

What else is included in the Animal Packet?

Earlier this year, I added in new notebook pages and sorting cards about animal body coverings: feathers, fur, scales and skin. That includes a couple of notebook pages about why animal’s body coverings are so different.  Younger students can use the tracing pages provided.  There is also a set of sorting cards and a sorting mat as well as a practice worksheet for the different types of body coverings.
