Happy Pi Day!!

My normally sleepy kids set their alarms to be sure they would be up by 9:26am this morning!!

“You DO realize, Mom,” DD informed me… “that this is LITERALLY a once in a lifetime opportunity.” Yes, this is the same DD who has more than 30 digits of Pi memorized. But, she is always quick to point out that her best friend has 50 digits memorized in two languages!

And yes, we had a pie ready to celebrate this auspicious occasion!! Grams made us a pecan pie last night! 🙂
