Mud Slide Activity

We talked about mud slides and land slides. Mud slides
usually occur after heavy rains, so our butter container
(again covered with our sand/corn flour concoction) was
watered for a time and the mud slid down the “mountain.”

The girls enjoyed playing in the mud for a long time after
that while LD kept exploding his volcano again and again!

Thank you very much for the wonderful hands on activity on various natural disasters which I am sure will be thoroughly enjoyed by the students and helps in making the concepts clear. I am the Headmistress of Indraprastha World School, New Delhi, India and I am collaborating with many schools in and outside India so that the teaching methodologies adopted by different teachers in various (countries) schools can be made available for everyone and we can learn from each other. I would like to hear from you more so please mail me in the above given mail address regarding various projects. Waiting in anticipation.
